I’m glad I read this just before sleeping. I have one child and I’m all he’s got and everything you wrote *is* the most important job as a parent raising sons, especially white privileged sons. Thanks for writing truths we all need to be hearing, facing and addressing. Your mum’s courage also personally inspires me. It’s good to know there are other good parents out there talking to their sons about this stuff. And it’s good to know some of these parents are men. Heartening in more ways than I expected. 🙏🏻
